This is a property with a small kitchen and bathroom behind the kitchen at the back of the house. We started with working with our architect and designer to come up with a better idea and design to accommodate the client's requirements.

The architectural drawings was done with few corrections from the client. With the drawings, the structural engineer got to work and provided the structural report. We submitted both documents to the council, letting them know our plans.

The council accepted the plans and gave us the authority to go ahead with the construction which they monitored in the process.

We demolished the existing kitchen and bathroom and extended the kitchen all the way through, up to 6m with underfloor heating and massive skylights and bifold doors. We also had to then build the bathroom above the kitchen. There is also a guest toilet and utility built under the stairs and as part of the extension.

Originally, our project was just to renovate our kitchen, sell and move. However, one of the consultants from Powerpillar visited with loads of ideas and suggestions that other contractors didn't let us know. The £60 site visit was worth it as we did not know where to start. From kitchen renovation to 2 storey house extension. We went beyond our budget but it was worth it. From the consultation to architectural drawings, structural report and dealing with the council. Their professionalism gave us the comfort of working with them. During the demolition, we uncovered extensive issues such as rotting floors, water damage, and electrical problems, significantly expanding the scope of the project. Ultimately, we had to perform a full gut from our laundry room through the kitchen and dining area. We are very pleased with the finished project and staying forever in this house. We really recommend working with Powerpillar Ltd.

It was a while until we finally decided to actually do this house refurbishment and really happy we did. Powerpillar Ltd renovations outdid themselves. Vlad and his crew where extremely professional, courteous and on top of everything. Which I just thought was cool... I definitely would recommend this company and my sister as my her husband are purchasing their own house, they have already decided to use them.
